  • On Sunday, we will play Highland Cathedral for the Kirkin' of the Tartans.

Established more than 35 years ago under the tutelage of PME Martin Schrieber and with a combined total of over 85 years experience, the Baton Rouge Caledonian Pipe and Drums is the oldest pipe band in Baton Rouge. With the highest level of teaching, and more than 80 performances a year, we are the only sanctioned competition pipe band in Baton Rouge!

Hub City Highlanders (Hattiesburg, MS)

Hub City Highlanders is a pipe band based in Hattiesburg and performs regionally in parades, ceremonies, highland games, and elsewhere. The band started as a school juvenile band 10 years ago. The band became independent with members of all ages.  In past years, in October, the band competes at the Stone Mountain Highland Games in Atlanta, Georgia, and has placed 2nd in their grade level.  The band plays traditional tunes, as well as contemporary tunes not specifically written for bagpipes.

 St. John's Pipers (Ocean Springs, MS)
For the last ten years, this small group of bagpipers has been meeting, practicing and playing at the St John’s Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs. They have been featured at police funerals, fire and police academy graduations, weddings, festivals, parades and graveside performances in both individual and group ensembles.
